The Wedding Botanist was founded by Maria, bringing together her background in professional gardening and a genuine love of weddings and beautiful spaces.
After planning our own wedding, I realised just how much I enjoyed the process of bringing all the different elements together to create a setting that felt personal to us. It was an experience I loved, and one that sparked the idea of combining my knowledge of plants with wedding styling.
Through my work in professional gardening, I've developed an appreciation for the shapes, textures and structure that living greenery can bring to a space. The Wedding Botanist brings that experience into weddings, using carefully selected plants, statement trees and elegant planters to create beautifully coordinated settings.
Every plant in the collection is personally selected and cared for, and I take a hands-on approach to each wedding, from the initial enquiry through to styling everything at your venue.

Our collection brings together mature statement trees, elegant planters and carefully selected greenery to create beautifully coordinated settings, from ceremony entrances and aisles to reception tables and feature areas.
Rather than offering individual plants for hire, we focus on the bigger picture, using greenery to add height, depth and texture throughout your venue. Each element is chosen to work alongside the others, creating a consistent look from one space to the next.
